Why Do We Exist? (God's Call)
Reaching
(What's the meaning of LIfe?) Reaching the nations for Christ - We understand this to be the call of all humanity before God: to be instrumental in serving all creation as a people intimately involved with the all-wise Creator of all creation- a Creator who is working and shaping in our world with Wisdom and Love.
Just as God Himself, in Jesus, gave His life that the world might be reconciled , so we too as His people are called to reach, reconnect and reconcile the nations, with all our lives.
How Do We Do This? (Our Response)
Building
(How Shall We Live?) Building a People - In a world that's increasingly Godless, globally connected but increasingly dis-membered from sincere relationships; lost in a flood of popular Western philosophies, eastern mysticism and mixed with Asian communal traditions; scarred by failed relationships, confused by gender roles and skeptical with political and religious authority...
We've come together to declare through our living in community that there is an alternative mode of relationships available for humanity. That despite the variety in race, language, nationality and backgrounds, there can be relationships governed by Love: a culture of authentic relationships submitted to service, purposeful in our existence.
What Lifestyle Will Best Reflect This? (Our Lifestyle Commitment)
Committed
(What Must I Do?) Committed to Faith, Service and Growth - We believe in a community of People,who do not just exist for personal gratification, or a social purpose, nor a missional purpose... but a community that's committed to living like Jesus Christ, walking and living as He did.
Individuals that demonstrate an inner humility by their commitment to life-long Growing, not just from academically but in their stature as human beings - in the Spirit and in Truth through obedience.
Individuals that hold themselves to a lifestyle of relationships governed first (vertically) by an authentic growing intimacy in Jesus expressed by and through Faith, and secondly (horizontally) relationships with all peoples that express this same Faith, through loving Service - rendering kindness when none is deserved, covering weaknesses and honoring people for who they are (created in God's image) rather than for what they can or cannot do.
