With life in the world of pandemic, we have seen livelihoods lost, loved ones forced to stay apart, parents and children confined in their homes, and individuals compelled to answer the question: How then do we survive and thrive in the new normal? This begs another question - where is God, and what has He been doing all this time?

About Rev. Dr Philip Huan
Rev. Dr. Philip Huan is the founder of ChurchLife Resources. He was raised and ordained in the Methodist Church and has ministered to over 90 churches locally, as well as church-clusters in Thailand, India and Laos. He has guided and coached Senior Pastors, Church Boards, Ministry Staff and Lay Leaders. Philip has taught Leadership and Preaching in Singapore Bible College, Trinity Theological College and Tung Ling Bible School. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science (NUS), Masters of Divinity (Trinity Theological College) and a Doctorate of Ministry (Asbury Theological Seminary).

About Rev. Dr. Emily Tan
Rev. Dr. Emily Tan is the former senior pastor of Sembawang Assembly of God. She is presently an adjunct faculty with the ACTS College. In 2012, she graduated with a Doctorate of Ministry from the Singapore Bible College. Since 1978, she had founded and pioneered a number of churches’ Chinese ministries, including Hougang Assembly of God, Maranatha Assembly of God (Chinese Department) and Woodlands Assembly of God. Rev Emily is also a missionary. She is married to Pastor David Tan, the founding pastor of Sembawang Assembly of God. God has blessed them with a daughter, Sophia Tan, and a son, Daniel Tan, and they are zealously serving the Lord.
